[Lunar]

This was the moment of truth. Gundham was the most suspected, and Monokuma smashed his hammer on the button. It was time... for either all of our deaths, or his escape...



"Well! It appears you all have solved this case. Or... did you? Either way..."



"Let's give it everything we've got! It's punishment time!"


"It appears I have been caught... The most unfortunate fate, for I. What did such an innocent being like myself do to deserve accidentally killing someone...? It does not matter. Once I am in heaven with the fallen animals, the power of the Evil Eye will bestow down on these peasant mortals. I have enjoyed my time with all of you, even if I haven't showed it. Farewell, classmates."

Gundham said, before walking off on to a pedestal. It was the most important moment of your life.

After sharing a kiss with Sonia, with tears in her eyes, he left into a strange room Monokuma directed him into.

But at least you solved two murders...

MURDER PLAN



During the morning life when everyone was afflicted with the despair disease, Sonia decided to build a trap in the incinerator and place a hidden camera there. Waiting until the night occurred, she looked at Hoshiko, sitting in the kitchen, and grabbed him by the mouth, infecting him and leaving him unconscious from shock of all that happening. She wrote a note, so when he woke up he would head to the incinerator to film his show. As he did, being infected with the God Complex despair disease, Gundham heard him boasting after being rejected by Sonia and walking the halls. So, he walked in, stepping on the trap, as the rope swung with the mallet and struck Hoshiko in the head, killing him. Then, in fear, Gundham walked into the school store and put on a suit of armor from the medieval times to conceal his identity, but tried to make it look like he was tall. After that, Gundham picked up the body and dropped it on the steps face-down, and took the rope from the incinerator, putting that behind the corpse to make it look like it fell, being attached to both ends of the steps. But the killer made one mistake. Gundham went to the infirmary to make it look like an accident, with an excessive amount of blood, and layed out packets containing blood from others all the way up to the Trophy Room, which seems unrealistic from a fall. Leaving the trap itself in the incinerator, Gundham goes to the laundry room and takes some pajamas with little sheep on them, putting them under his armor as clothing, then goes back to the incinerator, and puts his own bloody clothing in there, as well as the blood packets themselves, without realizing they were recorded by Sonia's camera. After they incinerated, the killer returned, destroying the incinerator with the mallet. Suddenly, they dashed to the Storage Room, dropped their armor and mallet, throwing closets on top of them to make a mess, going back to bed like nothing happened.

"T-this despair.. H-heheheh.. A-Argh!! Why to me? But, then again.. N-No!!" Mora covers one his eyes.

Florence watched the dishonorable fool meet his demise. Love is faulty, after all.

"A fate deserved of him. Taking the wrong path will always give you the wrong ending," she said, cruelly.

Mora starts laugh. "Heheheh. Whats a wrong ending without a little despair? Right Monokuma? U-Urk! W-why.. Why this is happening!" He runs to his dorm and looks in a mirror. "Why.. Is this this happening?" A shadow figure of Mora shows on the mirror. "Calm down.. Let despair is flow in you along with Koja.. Show that despair!" Mora punches the mirror and lays on his bed.

Florence watched as Mora ran out of the room. Disappointing. Is this what she would have to deal with to bring Honor to Despair? Quite the challenge.

"Justice Complete! The killer has finally been brought to justice! However..."

*She then points her sword at Dark Queen Sonia...*



"Dark Queen Sonia! You think you may have gotten away with this but mark my words! YOU CANNOT ESCAPE JUSTICE AND ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE YOU FALL BEFORE THE LIGHT OF JUSTICE!"

At some point in the trial, Bambi had grown considerably annoyed due to just how convoluted all of it was.. but with the results...


"You guys are pretty messed up... setting up traps just to get other people executed..."

She took a deep breath, putting the bridge of her nose between her fingers in exhaustion and sighing.


"You know, I almost half thought Sonia wanted to protect Gundam at the end and make us vote for her, but this is just... sad."
Picking up her bag, she left her podium and headed back down the hallway.

"A dramatic way to end things, but I am satisfied with the result. In the end, Sonia's hope was just stronger than Gundam's. Now I can't wait for the next killing and see whether the their hope will win this time. Who knows, maybe someone will kill Sonia for causing all of this to happen in the first place. Or maybe we will get a motive that will cause everything to be turned on their head. We will see."

OOC side note: I dont appreciate the fact that lunar literally told sonia that is was me, which is why she kept bashing on it (even copy pasting the skype logs O.O). In reality she couldnt/shouldnt have known. Not really a mystery anymore at that point. Nevertheless well played everyone and good luck.

((Alright, I'd like to say something to all of the admins. From what I understand, Gundham had the most votes on him at the time. However, this situation wasn't discussed well enough beforehand, and the Danganronpa games have actually created a logical inconsistency with murders like the one in this trial. If we're going to say Gundham is the killer, that's fine, but only if that's because he had the most votes. Not because Lunar made Aqua the deciding vote.

For those of you who are curious about the logic hole, I will add this in to the bottom of my post detailing how DR2 created this when dealing with trap murders. My best guess is the writers screwed up because they wanted to inject more drama into the story and didn't think about past trials. However, this implication would mean that the person setting up the trap is the blackened. Meaning the culprit would be Sonia, in this case. However, if the hosts can all come to an agreement on people setting off traps to kill someone will always become the blackened, then Gundham would be the culprit.

Now, if an agreement cannot be met, we should either end this entire game right now, or allow Alucard to still participate in the class trials, since we all will have to acknowledge he was set up unfairly by Sugar in this game. Now, I'm not trying to sound mean toward Sugar, but if future blackeneds decide to cause similar situations like she caused, I see no point in these class trials taking place. Trials like these screw over the blackened, and it ruins the mystery-solving aspect the trials are meant to provide.))

{Logic Hole (MAJOR DR2 SPOILERS)}
Okay, so in Trial 4, we all know Gundham killed Nidai. But it was established that Gundham wasn't actually present when Nidai died. Nidai only died because he was struggling and broke the door knob in the funhouse, causing him to fall to his death.

Now, look at trial 5, where Nagito sets up a trap where Chiaki kills him. If you look at the circumstances for how he did this, you'll notice that they mimic the conditions Gundham set Nidai up for in Trial 4 after Gundham put Nidai into sleep mode.

The problem with this is that Gundham and Chiaki were the two killers. If we assume Chiaki killed Nagito, even though he set up the trap, shouldn't Nidai have been his own killer in Trial 4?

Conversely, if we assume Gundham is the killer in Trial 4, Chiaki can't be Nagito's killer, since Nagito set up the trap that caused himself to die in Trial 5. So Nagito would have been his own killer in Trial 5.

((If you ask me there are two solutions to this. I'm just typing out what i think as i go along, we haven't discussed it yet. For starters the whole trapping thing has to always either have the trapper or the trapped as the blackened, as a standard rule. Changing the rules and having the players guess which it is this time is obviously annoying to say the least.

The issue in this case was the trapper knowing who she trapped. In that case the person who set off the trap has to fight everyone else + Someone who knows you are the blackened for a fact. Of course, knowing who did it for a fact is unhealthy and as stated removes the mystery-solving that this forum is all about.

The first solution is having the trapper be the blackened, which i believe has been the case in the past (Though i might be wrong). In this case that would have been sonia as we determined. It makes traps a fun way to try to frame people, while also having to stay under the radar with your accusations. This is unlike this scenario where the trapper had free reign to do whatever they wanted.

The second possibility is not letting the trapper know who they trapped, that way they will have the exact same information as the rest of the people trying to solve the trial. That way you're basically solving who set off your trap which adds enough mystery-solving if the host does it right. Though this might cause people to always try traps since they're an easy way of making the chosen blackened have a harder time than usual.

-I'd like to say that either way i don't mind being dead, nor will i join the class trials. This was a learning experience. Not to mention i'll just pretend i was victorious!))

((Well, I suppose if you want to stay dead, that's fair. I do agree that a rule needs to be set up to prevent this from happening again. I would prefer trappers always be the blackened, but I'm fine with whichever the hosts decide on this matter. One thing that bothered me was the fact that a hidden camera was set up in the room, so you had no way of knowing that Sugar would have been able to determine you were the culprit.

I personally felt that Lunar was way too accommodating to Sugar this trial, and I'm unsure whether I'd be comfortable taking part in any more of these trials. Although, I was a blackened the first trial, so I might not have a say in whether I can stick around anymore.))

As the victim of this trap, I can say that it feels incredibly unfair towards Gundham/Alu. Sonia was the one who attacked me in the dining hall, who made me go to the Incinerator and tricked me. Saying Gundham is my killer is like saying the gun kills, not the person who fired it.

I remember once reading on this forum the following rule:
"If person A sets a trap that makes person B accidentally kill person C, then person A becomes the Blackened.
If person A sets a trap that makes person B accidentally kill person A, then person B becomes the blackened."

You can also say it like this:
"The last person to touch the murderweapon and survive the trap, becomes the Blackened."

I personally think this last rule could work!

I'll add a spoiler later regarding how this rule would work on said examples.))

((Well, I have some problems if we implemented that as the rule, Hoshiko. First off, what would constitute as a murder weapon? Not all murder weapons need to have a physical shape (You could have also been tied to a rope which if triggered threw you down some stairs. But the rope isn't what killed you. The free falling, or the stairs did.) Also, if a blackened sets up a trap where they die, I'm more inclined to think they should still be the blackened, because they went through all the trouble to load the metaphorical gun and point it to their head. If you don't believe its suicide in the second case, however, then the first statement would be invalid, because applying that same logic would leave you with Person B becoming the blackened.

However, if you do believe it is suicide, but Person B was the one that fired the gun and became the blackened, I have another question. Person A went to the trouble of setting both traps, so why would he be the culprit in one case and not the culprit in another?))

...Well, I am deeply sorry about that, Gundham, and I do feel bad about that mistake. I shouldn't of told Sonia it was you who did it. It's because I rabmle a bit too much. If I make one more error, then I'll cancel the game. But hopefully, that doesn't happen...
